Hull KR will be without prop Mose Masoe for up to six weeks after suffering a broken hand in last week's victory against Leeds.
On the pitch and the Robins host Leigh in the Challenge Cup tomorrow night.

April 9th

The Hull KR squad is out for Thursday’s  Challenge Cup tie against Leigh Centurions. 
Included in the squad for the first time this season is back-rower Owen Harrison, a former City of Hull Academy captain. Shaun Lunt, Mose Masoe and Will Oakes drop out of the side, whilst Harry Bardle is recalled.

April 5th

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says his team did well to hold off a Leeds Rhinos comeback last night. The Robins led 31-10 going into half-time, but two early tries from the visitors in the second half, could've led to another comeback defeat for KR. The 45-26 win lifts the Red and Whites up to 7th in the Super League table.

April 4th

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says that tonight's clash against Leeds Rhinos is one they must win.
Leeds are currently bottom of Super League, two points adrift of the Robins.
KR will be looking to reverse recent losses, and have welcomed back Danny McGuire and Robbie Mulhern to the squad.

April 3rd

Hull KR coach Tim Sheens says he's relieved to welcome back Danny McGuire and Robbie Mulhern to the squad for tomorrow night's home clash against Leeds Rhinos. 
The Red and Whites will be keen to turn around their recent losing streak and Sheens is delighted to have strength in players like Mulhern back.


Rob Crossland has stepped down from the board of directors at Hull KR, and from his position as Vice chairman.
He's left with immediate effect, with full control now being transferred to Chairman Neil Hudgell.
Crossland says a combination of logistical and changing business commitments, means it's become difficult to carry on in the role.

April 2nd

Hull Kingston Rovers head coach Tim Sheens has named his 19-man squad for Thursday’s Betfred Super League clash against Leeds Rhinos. 
The Robins welcome back half-back Danny McGuire and prop Robbie Mulhern to the fold.  
McGuire missed the previous two defeats to Huddersfield Giants and St Helens through a groin injury. 
Mulhern has not featured since the loss at Castleford Tigers due to a back issue. 
There are no fewer than six former Leeds players in Sheens’ ranks this week.


Hull KR will host Leigh Centurions in the fifth round of the Challenge Cup.
Their opponents are currently fifth in Rugby League's second tier.
Head Coach Tim Sheens says he's looking forward to another classic.
London Broncos, Leeds Rhinos and Salford Red Devils, all join the Robins at this stage of the competition.

Hull Kingston Rovers head coach Tim Sheens is urging his side not to go into their shells and to fight for offensive improvements against Leeds on Thursday. 
The Robins fell to a third successive defeat, despite a brave battle at league leaders St Helens.


Hull KR were beaten 36-24 at Super League leaders St Helens on Friday.
The Saints are yet to drop a point so far this season.
Head Coach Tim Sheens says they failed to take their chances.

March 29th

The Robins take on Super League Leaders St Helens. Saints have seven wins from seven fixtures, and lead Warrington by two points.
Head Coach Tim Sheens says they'll give it everything.

George Lawler says that it's a big test.
He says they need to work hard against the Saints to gain ground in the Super League table.

March 28th

Hull Kingston Rovers second-rower George Lawler believes the Robins can thrive off the underdogs tag, against St Helens on Friday night. 
He says the team needs to be determined after recent defeats, particularly against Huddersfield last week.

Saints top the Super League table, while the Robins are looking to bounce back from last week's heavy defeat at Huddersfield.

March 27th

There are returns for a number of Hull KR stars, including Ben Crooks, Kane Linnett and Mitch Garbutt, for the clash against St Helens on Friday. They make the 19-man squad as the Robins face the trip to Merseyside. Centre  Crooks is set to make his first appearance since February following a back injury.


Hull KR's George Lawler says the Red and Whites have to knuckle down and put aside the disappointment of last week's defeat to Huddersfield Giants. 
Injuries didn't help the Robins but Lawler knows that they will need to work hard when they face Super League table-toppers St Helens on Friday.

March 26th

Hull KR's Chris Atkins has been named in the England Knights Performance Squad. The 34-man squad will team up with the England Performance Squad, which was announced yesterday, in late April for the first meeting of 2019.

March 25th

One player from Hull KR has been named in the 30-man England Performance Squad. That's Robbie Mulhern from the Robins. The 30-man squad will meet next April before further meetings in the summer, ahead of selection for the Great Britain tour of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.


Hull KR's Weller Hauraki says despite the effect injuries are having on the squad, they need to improve quickly.
The Robins fell to a 42-8 loss on Friday night.

March 22nd

Hull KR hooker Shaun Lunt says he feels like a new player after his enforced lay-off due to serious illness. He's in the squad for tonight's match against Huddersfield Giants.

March 20th

Hull KR head coach Tim Sheens has announced his 19-man squad to face Huddersfield Giants this Friday.
Hooker Shaun Lunt is included for the first time this season.
After recovering from a calf injury, Robbie Mulhern is brought back into the side.
He replaces Mitch Garbutt, who misses out this week after picking up a concussion against Catalan Dragons.
Kane Linnett is added to the club’s injury list and misses out on the action.

March 18th

It's now three defeats in four Super League game's for Hull KR.
They went down 18-16 at home to Catalans Dragons.
KR were leading 16-12 going into the final stages, before a late conversion from Sam Tomkins secured the victory for the visitors

March 15th

Hull KR's captain Joel Watkins is expected to return this Sunday after serving his disciplinary charge.
Robbie Mulhern is also back in the squad after injury. The Red and Whites take on Catalan Dragons.

Hull KR head coach Tim Sheens says he's relieved to have achieved some important wins. His side faces Catalan Dragons at Craven Park on Sunday and said they needed those Superleague victories.


Hull KR have given injury updates on James Greenwood and Ryan Lannon.
Greenwood has ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament and is not expected to feature again in 2019.
Lannon's undergone surgery to reconstruct ankle ligaments and will be out for up to 10 weeks.

March 11th

Hull KR are up to sixth in the rugby league Super League table this morning.
They beat in-form Wakefield 10-6 thanks to a late Danny McGuire try.

March 8th

Mitch Garbutt returns to the Hull KR squad for Sunday's trip to Wakefield, after being ill last week.
Head coach Tim Sheens says it won't be until Saturday that he knows what kind of team he'll have available.
The Robins have lost their two matches and finished last weekend's defeat at Castleford with no fit players on the bench.


It's hoped Hull KR's Shaun Lunt could be back in the squad for the game against Catalans next week.
Head coach Tim Sheens says they'll build up his work outside. 
Lunt's been out of action since September, due to an abscess on his spine.

March 7th

Hull KR could be without Ryan Lannon for up to 10 weeks after he suffered an ankle injury in last weekend's defeat at Castleford.
Head coach Tim Sheens revealed the news ahead of the Robins trip to Wakefield on Sunday.
The Red and Whites are looking to break a run of two games without a win.

March 6th

Hull KR's Joel Tomkins has been issued with a two-match ban, after he pleaded guilty to questioning the integrity of a match official.
He was also fined 500 pounds for the incident during KR's defeat to Salford Red Devils last month.
Tomkins has already served one match of the suspension, and will miss this weekend's trip to Wakefield Trinity.

March 5th

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says they may have to pick a number of younger players for this Sunday's Wakefield Trinity game.
A string of injuries and suspensions has left the Robins short in certain areas.
Sheens says they could be struggling for numbers in the forwards.

March 4th

Hull KR were on the wrong side of 32-16 scoreline on Friday, when they traveled to table-toppers Castleford Tigers.
The result leaves the Robins 8th in Super League.

The Tigers are top of Super League, with three wins from three.

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says they'll have to be wary of Castleford Tigers' Paul McShane.  McShane has one try and 11 conversions so far this season. The Robins travel to West Yorkshire on Friday night, looking for their third win of the season.

The Robins have won two, and lost two, in Super League this season. 
Both Will Oakes and James Greenwood are in the squad for the game.

February 27th

In the rugby league and Will Oakes is hoping to make his first professional appearance of 2019 for Hull KR for Friday's trip to Castleford. He's been named in Tim Sheens' 19-man squad along with James Greenwood - who missed last weekend's game following concussion protocol. Sheens says they'll be a stern test.

The Red Devils came back from 22-8 behind, to pinch a win in the last ten minutes.

February 26th

A tribunal to decide on the punishment for Hull KR captain Joel Tomkins has been deferred to next week.

He received a disciplinary charge for questioning the integrity of a match official against Salford. Tomkins will serve a one-match ban this weekend, pending the outcome of the hearing.

February 25th

Meanwhile, Hull KR's Joel Tomkins has been charged with questioning the integrity of a match official after the club's defeat to Salford. It will be down to a tribunal to decide on the punishment.

The Robins have two wins from three, the most recent coming last weekend against London Broncos.

Five City of Hull Academy players have been named in a 68-player England Youth National Performance Squad.
Alex Dickens, Bailer Dawson, Jacob Hookem, Joel Speed and Leon Stewart have all made the list.

Hull KR's Ben Crooks will be out for six weeks, after suffering a back injury against London Broncos at the weekend.
After breaking the defensive line, he was brought down in a last ditch tackle, suffering a broken vertebra in the process.


Hull KR's head coach Tim Sheens says they could be without several key players for Saturday's visit of Salford, including James Greenwood and Ben Crooks.
They both were injured in the Robins 22-12 victory over London at the weekend.

The Robins turned around a two point deficit at half time.

Hull KR's head coach Tim Sheens is keen to make Craven Park a tough place to visit this season. The Robins won their opening home game against Hull FC, before losing on the road to Warrington. This Sunday the Robins host Super League new boys, London Broncos.

Hull Kingston Rovers has released prop Josh Johnson from the club. 
In search of further game time, Johnson has left by mutual consent.
Joining the club from Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2017 season, Johnson became a part of the team which helped seal promotion back to the Betfred Super League.
But he's been on loan for much of the last year.

January 24th

Hull KR's head coach Tim Sheens says the side should be ready for several rule changes when the season kicks off a week tomorrow. Among the changes include shot clocks to reduce the length of stoppages in matches, Golden Point extra time and the number of interchanges reduced from 10 to 8.

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says he expects Toronto to play a strong side this Saturday. It's the Robins' final pre-season game, before the Superleague curtain-raiser against Hull FC. The fixture is the first one back at the KCOM Craven Park since it reopened.

January 17th

Hull Kingston Rovers will be without Will Oakes this Saturday for their final pre-season game when they face Toronto Wolfpack.
Oakes suffered concussion last week. A similar squad to the one which faced Widnes will play the Wolfpack at Craven Park. The ground reopened yesterday after floodlight problems. 


Hull KR's KCOM Craven Park is set to reopen today.
The stadium has been closed since November, when a floodlight pylon collapsed.
The club say the game against Toronto Wolfpack on Saturday will go ahead at the stadium.

Hull KR's Joel Tomkins says it's a massive privilege to be named the Robins captain for the upcoming season.

Former Hull KR player Thomas Minns has been suspended from all sport for 16 months.
It's after he tested positive for cocaine in March last year after the Robins played Huddersfield Giants.
He'll be able to play rugby league again from July 15th, this year.

Former Hull KR player Thomas Minns has been banned for 16-months, after testing positive for cocaine.
He tested positive in March of last year, after Rovers' match against Huddersfield Giants.
The 24-year-old is without a club, and will be able to return to action on July 14th.


Former Hull KR forward James Donaldson has joined Leeds Rhinos on a one-year deal after impressing during a trial period at the club.
The forward spent four seasons with the Robins before leaving at the end of last season.

Further work is being carried out on the remaining floodlights, after one toppled over last month.

Hull KR's Shaun Lunt has returned to light training after suffering an abscess in his spine which has ruled him out since last season. It left the red and whites skipper in hospital for several weeks. He says he's taking baby steps to see how his body reacts.

The club say the West Stand is partially open. No-one was injured.

In rugby league, City of Hull Academy player Cameron Scott has been called up for the England Academy squad to face Australian Schoolboys.
England will play a two-match series at the Leigh Sports Village this Saturday.
Hull FC’s Jack Brown and Hull KR’s Elliot Wallis were out of contention because of injuries.
