January 22nd

Hull FC's Josh Griffin says it's going to be a big few weeks of pre-season training. 
It's less than two weeks before the Black and Whites face Hull KR in the season opener.

January 21st

Hull FC fell to a 28-18 defeat at St Helens as part of their pre-season preparations.
The Black and Whites welcomed back Marc Sneyd, Sika Manu, Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Griffin and Mark Minichiello at the weekend.

January 18th

Hull FC are also in pre-season action this weekend, facing St Helens. Lee Radford takes his side to the Totally Wicked Stadium to get a final glimpse before the  Superleague Round One clash with Hull KR in a fortnight.

January 17th

Five first team stars look set to make their first appearances of the year when Hull FC take on St Helens in their final pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Lee Radford will take a 23-man squad to the Totally Wicked Stadium including Marc Sneed, Sika Man-u and Josh Griffin.

Hull FC's Mark Minichiello says he's relieved to be back in the first team set-up, after a hernia operation ended his season early in 2018.
The 36-year-old has had further treatment to allow him to run without pain.
He says he hopes he can get through Saturday's game against St Helens, to put him a good position to feature in Round One.

Hull FC's Danny Washbrook says he was delighted to score a try in his testimonial match, despite losing the game.
Washbrook celebrated his testimonial with former Wakefield team mate Danny Kirmond.
Washbrook says it was a good exercise for the players who'd been out a while, and blew off a few pre-season cobwebs.

January 14th

Hull FC's Head Coach Lee Radford praised the performance of young forward Jack Brown, despite a defeat at Wakefield yesterday.
A youthful FC side were beaten 30-24, with several star names yet to make an appearance in pre-season.
Radford says Brown used his strength well, using his height to get under players in defence.

January 11th

Hull FC's Cameron Scott says it's been a tough pre-season but they're ready for the new season.
Scott made his debut last year for the Black and Whites, going on to make half a dozen appearances last year.
FC travel to Wakefield on Sunday for a friendly, which also celebrates Danny Washbrook's testimonial

The 27-year-old was part-time at previous club Oldham, before joining the Black and Whites on a two-year deal in September.

Hull FC's Jez Litten says it was rewarding to record a big win after a challenging pre-season campaign so far.
The 20-year-old hooker featured in Sunday's 72-12 win at Doncaster, saying he loved being out on the pitch.
This weekend the Airlie Birds travel to Wakefield as part of pre-season preparations.

January 8th

Hull FC's Dean Hadley says they have to be on guard defensively, when they face Super League opposition on Sunday.
The Black and Whites travel to Wakefield Trinity for their second pre-season game, following a comprehensive 72-12 victory over Doncaster. 
Hadley says he's expecting a much tougher test, as Wakefield are good side with a nice playing style.

Hull FC's Dean Hadley says the team physicality was clear to see, during their 72-12 victory over Doncaster yesterday.
The 26-year-old captained his hometown club for the first time.
He says everyone stood up to the task, including the younger players.

January 4th

Hull FC's Lee Radford's included new recruits Danny Langtree and Levy Nzoungou in the squad for Sunday's friendly at Doncaster.
They join a host of first-team players including Dean Hadley, Danny Washbrook and Masi Matongo set to feature at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Hull FC's Sika Manu says there's a real buzz around the camp at the minute ahead of Sunday's opening friendly match at Doncaster.
He says the Black and Whites have got young boys with a lot of potential and energy and there's some exciting new faces in the squad.

Hull FC's Andrew Bulman has left the club, and is set to join League 1 club Whitehaven.
The 19-year-old had recently relocated to Hull, but the club say he's struggled to settle in the area.

December 18th

Hull FC's Albert Kelly says they'll be doing everything in their power to edge city rivals Hull KR in their opening game of next year's Super League season.
Kelly, who's played for both the Robins and Airlie Birds, says it's going to be a big build up and the atmosphere at the derbies is mind-blowing.

December 17th

Young Hull FC centre Cameron Scott has praised the efforts of his England Academy teammates after their 2-0 series victory over Australia. 
Scott captained the side in both victories against the Schoolboys, with the series whitewash confirmed on Friday evening in an 18-6 victory at Headlingley.
They were only the fourth team to beat Australia in England rugby history, with the academies only managing it once before.

December 13th

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has revealed that he won't be going easy on his players, as the new season draws near.
He says pre-season will only get tougher, and praised his sides efforts so far.
The Black and Whites get their pre-season fixtures under way at Doncaster on January 6th.

December 11th

Hull FC back-rower Sika Manu says there's real talent among the younger players this season. Manu, who returned early from injury for an autumn international for Tonga, says he plans to use his knowledge and experience to help the Black and Whites' new crop of forwards.
He says the pre-season training has been one of the toughest since joining the club three seasons ago.

Hull FC's Masi Matongo says the new reserves team will help the first team set up to prosper.
The Black and Whites have relaunched their reserves team for next year, with Gareth Ellis taking the reigns.
The 22-year-old says it'll help players to build up fitness, and will aid injured players in their recovery.

Hull academy player Cameron Scott says the chance to captain England against Australia Schoolboys was a new career high.
The 19 year old centre skippered them to a 14-8 victory at Leigh Sports Village, only seven months on from making his Super League debut with Hull FC.
The two sides will meet again for the second and final Test at Headingley on Friday.

December 7th

Hull FC's England international Jake Connor says he's feeling ambitious ahead of the 2019 Super League campaign.
Having returned to pre-season training this week he says they've got an outstanding squad and will be aiming to make it to the Grand Final.

December 6th

Hull FC's Joe Westerman says he is ahead of schedule as he looks to be back from an injury in time for the Black and Whites Super League opener against Hull KR.
The England international featured in only a handful of games last season after suffering a micro-fracture in his knee.
He's recently returned to running in pre-season training.

December 5th

Jake Connor has returned to Hull FC's pre-season training after his international exploits with England.
Meanwhile Dean Hadley, Bureta Faraimo and Hakim Miloudi are also back training as the Black and Whites prepare for the 2019 season.

December 4th

In rugby league, City of Hull Academy player Cameron Scott has been called up for the England Academy squad to face Australian Schoolboys.
England will play a two-match series at the Leigh Sports Village this Saturday.
Hull FC’s Jack Brown and Hull KR’s Elliot Wallis were out of contention because of injuries.

November 30th

Hull FC's Mark Minichiello says he's ready for the new season, only two months on from a hernia operation.
The 37-year-old carried the issue for a large part of last season, before going in for surgery.
He says the Black and Whites will need to be better defensively next year, if they're to be successful.

November 29th

Hull FC's Bureta Faraimo says he's delighted to be playing a role in developing rugby league in the Americas.
FC's top try-scorer last season featured recently for the United States, in their 2021 World Cup Qualifying Campaign.
They couldn't get past Jamaica in the qualifying final, but will have another chance next year.
Faraimo says the squad has a lot of amateur players, so players such as himself can offer guidance during the meet ups.

November 28th

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford says the players are already focused, on opening the 2019 campaign against Hull KR.
The two sides meet in the first game of the Super League season on February 1st.
Radford says it'll be a huge occasion, and to win at Craven Park would be fantastic.

November 27th

Hull FC's Sika Manu says the squad is working hard to avoid a repeat of last years campaign.
The Black and Whites are back in pre-season training, with the first warm up game scheduled for January 6th.
The 31-year-old says he wants to bring some more leadership to the team. 

November 22nd

Hull FC's Josh Griffin says he's open to playing in more than just one set position next season.
Usually in the centres, he's also featured on the wing and in the back-row during the 2 years for the Black and Whites.
He's returned to training this week after undergoing an operation to remove a hernia.

November 21st

Cassy Lawson has been named Hull FC Ladies Woman of Steel.
Lawson, who was the joint top-try scorer in their debut season, was praised for her consistent effort and performances.

Leanne Baggley's won Hull FC Ladies Players' Player of the Year and overall Player of the Year at their end of season awards.
Head coach Jon Hilton says it's been an overwhelming debut season which ended with a Championship semi-final game.

November 20th

Hull FC prop Mickey Paea says he's back glad to be back in training, and is relishing the start of the Super League campaign.
He returned to the club for 2018, after a spell in the NRL, and is looking forward to the opening match against city rivals Hull KR, despite picking up a minor calf injury first week back training.

November 15th

Hull FC reserves's assistant coach Richard Tate says the newly formed side will help to develop players.
Tate has joined up with the new reserve head coach, Gareth Ellis, to help provide players with a pathway to the first team.
Tate says the side will help the develop late bloomers, the players who didn't pick up the game until later in life.

Hull FC's Magic weekend opponents have been revealed.
The Black and Whites take on Huddersfield Giants on Saturday May 25th. 
The weekend heads to a new ground for the first time since 2015, with Anfield in Liverpool set to host the games.

November 12th

Hull FC have revealed three pre-season friendlies ahead of their 2019 Super League campaign.
They'll kick off their friendlies with a trip to Doncaster, followed by trips to Wakefield and St Helens, all in January.

November 9th

Hull FC have announced that club legend Gareth Ellis will take up a new coaching role with the club's emerging talent.
Ellis will act as head coach to the club's reserve side, which returns next season.
The 37-year-old says looking forward to getting stuck in as a coach.
Meanwhile, FC's Jake Connor has been named in 19-man squad for England's third test against New Zealand.
England will be hoping to make it a clean sweep of victories on Sunday in Leeds.

Hull FC's Marc Sneyd says he can't wait to link up with Albert Kelly next season.
Sneyd says the pair struggled for game time together last season due to injury, as the duo racked up 27 tries between them.
The 27-year-old says they were both ready for the start pre-season recently, and hope they'll help the Black and Whites get back to their best.

Hull FC legend Johnny Whiteley is to be inducted into the rugby league Hall of Fame tonight.
The former Great Britain International, who also coached Hull KR, will receive the honour at Elland Road in Leeds.
He played 15 seasons for the Black and Whites making over 400 appearances and scoring over 150 tries.

November 6th

Hull KR and Hull FC will meet in their opening Super League clash next year.
The Robins will play host on Friday the 1st of February, with the game on TV.
It's one of three local derbies, with the fixtures and venue for the Magic Weekend still to be confirmed.

November 5th

Hull FC's Jake Connor says it was a massive achievement, to secure a series victory over New Zealand.
The 24-year-old bagged his fourth try in as many international games, as England ran out 20-14 victors, to take a unasailable 2-0 series lead.
Connor says it was special to play on the Anfield turf, having sat in the stands as a Liverpool supporter.

Jordan Abdull has left Hull FC and has joined London Broncos for next season.
It's after the 22-year-old handed in a transfer request earlier this year.

November 1st

Hull FC's Jake Connor has been named in the 19-man England squad for the second test against New Zealand.
Wayne Bennett's side hold a 1-0 lead, following their 18-16 victory at the KCOM Stadium at the weekend.
Connor has made three senior international appearances, scoring three tries.

The 21-year-old was named FC's Young Player of the Year last season, after he made 16 Super League appearances.
Lane says he's aiming to make the squad every week in 2019.

Hull FC's Lewis Bienek says he enjoying his experience with the Irish squad, as they look to qualify for the 2021 World Cup.
The 20-year-old made his debut in the 36-10 victory over Scotland last Saturday.
Bienek says it's been easy to settle in, with the help of several well known figures, such as George King, Liam Finn and captain Tyrone McCarthy.

October 30th

Hull FC's Dean Hadley has left the England Knights tour of Papua New Guinea due to illness.
Hadley spent a night in hospital on Sunday, before being given the all-clear the following day.
The 26-year-old, says he's enjoyed the tour, but felt it was a wise decision to rest following the illness.

October 29th

Hull FC's Jake Connor says he's loving the experience of representing his country.
He scored 10 points in England's 18-16 win against New Zealand in Hull.
There are two more matches to go - with the next at Anfield next Sunday.

Hull FC's Dean Hadley has been named in the starting line-up for England Knight's first test against Papua New Guinea. 
Brad Fash is on the bench.
The Knights fly out on Thursday, before the first match on Saturday.

Hull FC's Jamie Shaul says he really enjoyed making his debut for England in their 44-6 win over France last night.
The fullback says last night was a good experience in which he claimed an assist.

Matty Dawson-Jones has joined from Leigh Centurions on a two-year deal.
The winger scored 18 tries in 28 appearances in the Championship last season.
Jordan Thompson has rejoined the Black and Whites on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old first signed for FC in 2014, and went on to make over 100 appearances.
The utility-forward says he has unfinished business with the Airlie Birds.

However, the 27-year-old says he'll us the break, to make sure he's in peak condition for the 2019 season.

Hull FC's Mark Minichiello has returned to light training after missing the last month of the Super League campaign after undergoing a hernia operation.
The back-rower says the scar from the operation has pretty much healed and he feels ok.
He wants to be back out on the training field when pre-season starts in November.

The 28-year-old suffered the injury in the Super Eight's defeat to Huddersfield earlier in the season.
Green says he hopes the back around the start of the 2019 season.

Hull FC's Jake Connor has been named in the England squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.
England play france, and then three tests against New Zealand, the first of which will be played at the KCOM Stadium on October 27th.
The 23-year-old made his England debut in June against the Kiwis, scoring a try and bagging two assists.

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford has challenged his team to learn from the things they did wrong this season.
The injury hit Black and Whites didn't win a game in the Super Eights, finishing the campaign with a 14-12 defeat at Wigan.
