Libby Squire's parents have thanked local people for their kindness.
The parents of missing Hull student Libby Squire say they've been overwhelmed by people's kindness in the city as the search for the daughter goes on.
Russell and Lisa Squire met students and staff at the University of Hull last night when more than 100 people turned out for a solidarity event.
In a statement this afternoon, they said it was incredible that so many people have helped.
Officers are continuing to search for the 21 year old from Buckinghamshire. It's been six days since her disappearance.
