Mum of missing Hull student pays tribute to support

The mum of missing Hull University student Libby Squire has passed on her heart felt thanks to everyone for their continued love and support.

Lisa Squire posted on social media that if love alone could bring her daughter back she would be sat cuddling with them now.

The 21-year old was last seen in the Beverley Road area shortly after midnight last Friday.

Around 200 staff and students gathered at Hull University last night in a show of solidarity.

Professor Susan Lea, Vice Chancellor, says students are being supported. She says: "We're in contact with her family and offering whatever support we can provide to them and with the students both those directly affected, so Libby's immediate friends, but the wider community, our welfare teams are on standby all the time working with those students should they need that support."
