Joyriders attack the fairway at an East Yorkshire golf course.
Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused to one of the fairways at Beverley Golf Club by joyriders.
A vehicle was driven over the Westwood at night earlier this week and the damaged was reported by one of the greenkeepers.
Andrew Webster of the Golf Club says: "They've driven in an old pond hole in front of the seventh green and used it like a mini wall of death. What's really soul-destroying is that they've gone down the seventh fairway. We've only got three greenkeepers to keep the course in tip-top condition, and they've just put tyre ruts and been skidding along."
The Club is considering the options to prevent this happening, including bollards.
