Coastguard warning after East Yorkshire cliff rescue

Visitors advised to check tide times when exploring the coast.

Two people had to be rescued by helicopter off a cliff near Hornsea after being cut off by the tide.

They were stuck 35 feet up the cliff at Cowden.

They were unable to be rescued with rope, due to the location within an RAF bombing range. It's led to coastguards warning visitors to the East Yorkshire coast to check for tide times.
