Calls for action over anti-social behaviour on Hull estate

Councillor urges extra resources for Orchard Park Estate.

There are calls for extra police resources on Hull's Orchard Park Estate after reports of stones being thrown at buses.

Councillor Deborah Matthews represents the area for Hull City Council: "What we need to do is divert people away from this criminality - this behaviour - but we also need people to report it, no matter how small this behaviour is. If people  don't report it, we don't know it's happening."

She's meeting the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner later this week calling for extra resources.

The Police say they're working with agencies to support struggling families and are working to deter young people from committing anti-social behaviour.
