Plans to build lodges in a Holderness community have been given the go-ahead.
Plans to build six lodges in a Holderness hamlet have been approved by councillors, despite concerns from residents.
Some feared that building the lodges next to the Bay Horse Inn in Arnold would overwhelm an already unfit sewerage system that serves the pub.
The pub and its surrounding site are not currently connected to the main public sewers.
East Riding Council were satisfied that the separate system could cope with the pub and the new development.
