The chairmen of both clubs have issued a joint statement, urging the organisation to adopt proposals made by the Super League, which would involve scrapping qualifiers.

Hull KR Head Coach Tim Sheens says it was hard to pick a man of the match, thanks to several excellent performances in the win at Leeds Rhinos.
KR won 38-36 against the West Yorkshire side in the Super League Qualifiers.

August 31st

Hull KR's Danny McGuire says he looking forward to taking on his former-club Leeds Rhinos tomorrow.
McGuire won eight Grand Finals with the Rhinos, but will go up against them tomorrow in the Super Eight Qualifiers.
He says he'll stay focuses on the job at hand.


Hull KR's Lee Jewitt and Todd Carney have been ruled out of this weekend's clash with Leeds Rhinos.
The duo have failed to recover from concussion and calf injuries respectively, but are likely to face Halifax next weekend.
Back row forward James Donaldson has also been ruled out for a further two or three weeks, having suffered a broken foot against Toronto.

Hull KR have named Maurice Blair and Justin Carney in their 19-man squad for the Leeds Rhinos game.
Blair returns from suspension, whereas Carney has recovered from an ankle injury.

Among those who will be missing is Maurice Blair, who pleaded guilty to the contrary behaviour charge in the derby victory against Hull FC.


Hull KR's Maurice Blair has been suspended for two matches, meaning he'll miss Friday's game with Salford and the trip to Toronto.
Blair challenged the grading of his 'Other Contrary Behaviour' charge, which was downgraded from Grade D to C.

They replace Lee Jewitt and Chris Clarkson as the Robins look to make it back-to-back wins.

Hull KR's Adam Quinlan has signed a new contract, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020 season.
The 25-year-old said he's looking to breaking into the top half of Super League with the Robins in the next couple of years.

Hull KR's Junior Vaivai say's the clubs supporters played a big part in his decision to stay at the club.
Yesterday the centre signed a two-year contract extension. He said he and his team mates are lucky to have such a loyal fanbase.

Hull KR centre Junior Vai Vai says it wasn't a hard decision to extend his stay with the Robins until the end of the 2020 season.
He says he's enjoying his time at the red and whites and owes it to the club for giving him the opportunity to start with.
