The Buidling School's For The Future Programme will be finished by March 2014

Hull's four hundred million pound Building Schools For the Future programme is on target to be completed ahead of schedule.

17 new schools will have been built in the city by March 2014, around 6 months ahead of the September deadline.

Sam Whitiker is the Chief Executive of Esteem, who've helped deliver the project in Hull.

He told us "Hull is one of the few BSF programmes nationally that will go from start to finish and see all of its school delivered.  We've seen results pretty much double from the low 20's to the high 40's where it is now."
