Councillors have voted unanimously against proposals to build flats for more than a thousand students on St Andrews Dock
Plans to build a waterfront village with flats for more than a thousand students have been rejected by Hull City Council.
The authority voted unanimously against planning permission for the development on St Andrews Dock in west Hull.
They claimed the car-free site was too remote for students and a proposed pedestrian link to Hessle Road posed a safety risk.
