A new board is hoping to take over the running of Hornsea Floral Hall from East Riding of Yorkshire Council
A new board is in place, hoping to officially take over the running of Hornsea's Floral Hall.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council gave campaigners six months to come up with a plan to save the entertainment venue.
Hornsea Steering Group Member, Councillor Barbara Jefferson will be presenting their business plan to the authority for approval.
She says there's still some way to go, saying "We need to make sure the Floral Hall can be sustained.
It's going to be there for the community to be used, but that needs to be happening during the daytime and the evening.
The facility has to be able to pay for itself."
