Police are concerned an increasing number of young people in our area are taking the Class B Substance

Humberside Police is working to reduce the number of people in Hull using the drug MKAT.

Police are concerned an increasing number of young people in our area are taking the Class B Substance and have this week been trying to tackle the problem.

Inspector Dave Houchin says:

"It's been a successful week of action; the number of treatment agencies have reported an increase in referrals and we've also got more reports off members of the public. That's leading to more stop and searches by police officers, more arrests and more executions of search warrants".
