Hull Paralympian calls for greater awareness of hidden disabilities

Christopher Skelley would like to see more kindness when it comes to disabilities, especially towards those people whose disabilities aren't visible.

24 year old Christopher Skelley claimed gold in the European Judo Championships after travelling around the world to complete intense training sessions.

He's visually and hearing impaired but he says that won't hold him back from pushing to become a world and Paralympic champion one day.

Chris says he's experienced some comments from people regarding his sunglasses which help him to see. He says those comments are more hard mentally than actually competing.

He's now calling on more kindness when it comes to people with disabilities and for people without them to be more understanding, as not everyone has visible disabilities.
