It's hoped work on the 1.4 million pound redevelopment of Hull's Paragon station will be finished before Christmas.
As part of the upgrade the waiting areas, toilets and booking office are being refurbished, whilst a new departures board has also been installed.
The revamp was scheduled to be finished by Spring but problems with the buildings foundations delayed it's finish time.
Here's station manager David Hatfield:
"The main building work should be done by the 7th December, that's when the contractors are due to hand it over to us. We'll then start on some of the shop fits, hopefully we'll see something open, some of the new retail units before Christmas or the New Year."
