Eviction notices handed to residents at Lakeminster Park

East Riding of Yorkshire Council handed enforcement notices to more than a hundred residents living on the holiday park

Official eviction notices have today been handed out to residents living at Lakeminster Park near Woodmansey.

More than a hundred pensioners have been living on the holiday park since 2007, but were told by East Riding of Yorkshire Council last year that they didn't have planning permission.

They now have until November 13 to appeal the decision to the Planning Inspectorate.
