East Riding schoolchildren hoping to cook for the Queen

Roos Primary School are shortlisted for a Jubilee competition to celebrate the country's finest food.

East Riding school children are hoping to be chosen to Cook for The Queen in a Jubilee competition.

Roos Primary School is down to the last 16, inspired by the Duchess of Cornwall, to come up with a menu celebrating British food. 

Headteacher Marlene Millar is thrilled that the school can fly the flag for the county as there are no other schools in East Yorkshire or Hull shortlisted.
