A new report presented to Government suggests one point three billion pounds could be generated, along with the creation of four thousand jobs in the region

Plans to invest in carbon capture and storage in Yorkshire and the Humber could provide a major boost to the UK economy.

A new report presented to Government suggests one point three billion pounds could be generated, along with the creation of four thousand new skilled jobs in the region.

Steven Brown from CO2 Sense says:

"By 2050 we could be seeing a benefit of twenty six billion pounds overall to the economy of Yorkshire and the Humber. Carbon capture and storage has a real opportunity of transforming the economy of the region".
