A group is opposed to a planned windfarm overlooking the village of Rudston
Campaigners are against plans for a wind turbine, that'll overlook the village where East Yorkshire novelist Winifred Holtby was born.
Plans have been submitted to install a two hundred and eighteen foot turbine within half a mile of Rudston.
David Hinde from the No To Wolds Wind Farm Group wants the proposals rejected saying, "In the churchyard is the grave of Winifred Holtby and the largest standing stone in the country, larger than Stonehenge.
The view will be marred considerably."
