Calls for Hull Olympian to receive freedom of the City
Support is gathering for Luke Campbell to be given the freedom of Hull
There are calls for Hull boxer Luke Campbell to be given the Freedom of the City.
He'd be the youngest person to receive the honour - which would mean he'll get invites to civic events and even a free parking space at the Guildhall!
Hull East MP Karl Turner supports the idea.
He told KCFM "I think he should, I've made my representations to Hull City Council and I have
spoken with Stephen Brady about it, he's seriously considering the idea. There are procedures that have to be looked at of course."
