Burnby Hall and Gardens hopes to re-open fully next month

The recent bad weather's delayed work at Burnby Hall and Gardens in Pocklington.

Their Upper Lake and Rock Gardens are being improved as part of the largest construction at the garden for over 100 years.

Rachel Mort says the work had planned to be completed this month but it'll now be mid-May:

"I learnt recently that to render concrete it has to be over five degrees and if you think about the winter that we've had, it's mostly been minus figures, so all work basically had to stop."
