Brexit inactivity worries East Riding lobster industry

There are fears for the future of East Riding's lobster fishery as Brexit talks drag on.

The industry is the largest in Europe and is worth around 35-million pounds to the local economy.

Over 80% of the local catch is exported - mainly to France, Spain and Portugal - but there are fears Brexit could hit the industry hard if we don't get a good trade deal.

Mike Cohen is the Chief Executive of the Holderness Fishing Group:

"Brexit isn't just about the day we leave,it's about what comes next. How do we carry on trading with Europe and how do we mange our fishery resources ourselves."
