Boost for regeneration of Hull marina

A one point eight million pound business has opened on Hull's marina

After falling into decline over the last ten years, businesses are returning to the Hull marina.

The area was once one of the city's main night time destinations, lined with pubs and bars.

The regeneration has been led by a new one point eight million pound restaurant in the old rope factory.

James Allcock is the Head Chef. He told KCFM, "We've been talking about a marina regeneration for a long time, and it's about time someone did something about it.

If you look at any other city the marina will be a cultural hub. It's the best location in Hull in my mind."
