Andrew Percy vows to fight to save Leeds heart surgery unit

Earlier this week Andrew Percy and other local MPs attended a Parliamentary debate to discuss the decision to close the Leeds centre

The MP for Brigg and Goole says he'll continue to fight to save Yorkshire's only childrens heart surgery unit.

Earlier this week Andrew Percy and other local MPs attended a Parliamentary debate to discuss the decision to close the Leeds centre.

Mr Percy says:

"If the choice is really between Leeds and Newcastle, the population is here in Yorkshire and the Humber and we should move surgeons to the patients because Newcastle is simply too far for local families to travel".
