At KCFM 99.8 - our weekday evening specialist shows will bring you exciting music alternatives from the Fifties to the Eighties - from Country to Classic Rock and from Good Times and Great Oldies to local music from Hull & East Yorkshire’s local bands.
Our Specialist Shows from 8pm-11pm:
MONDAY: Let The Good Times Roll! - Johnny Pat with three hours of rock 'n' roll, swing, ballads and vintage pop, plus specials guests playing live.
TUESDAY: KCFM's 70s Night - Matthew Rudd with classics from three decades ago, including punk, prog, disco, glam, AOR and more!
WEDNESDAY: KC Country - Peter Fairhead mixes brilliant new country sounds from Nashville with all-time country greats.
THURSDAY: KCFM's 80s Night - Steve Jordan with three hours of 80s anthems, including a stack of requests from you, 12" mixes and album tracks.
FRIDAY: The Big Soul Party - Rob Langley with three hours of classic soul and funk from the heady days of the 70s and 80s.
And our specialist shows at the weekend:
SATURDAY, 10am-1pm: Good Times, Great Oldies - Tim Jibson with five decades worth of hits, plus meticulous details on the artists and a few anecdotes thrown in.
SATURDAY, 6pm-10pm: Groovy-licious - Darren Goulbourne sets the weekend up with four hours of top dance and RnB, plus guest DJs in the mix.
SUNDAY, 7pm-10pm: KCFM's Rock Show - Crown Jules with big rock standards, fresh new music from local bands, live guests, gig guides and competitions.
