99.8 KCFM is the local radio station for Hull and East Yorkshire, and each local commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech levels etc. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom, the UK’s radio regulator.

Automation: 49% of 99.8 KCFM's locally produced weekly output is broadcast live.
Local production: 99.8 KCFM is locally produced 24 hours a day.
News Bulletin Schedule
Local news bulletins are broadcast hourly Monday to Friday from 6am-6pm, with headlines and sport at 6.30, 7.30, 8.30am, 4.30 & 5.30pm. At relevant times additional news bulletins may be broadcast. Bulletins between 7pm & 5am are syndicated and provided by IRN with pre-recorded local headlines. At weekends local bulletins are broadcast from 6am-2pm.

Local travel information is broadcast 6am-7pm Monday to Friday & 8am-12noon on Saturday & Sunday, with additional updates as and when necessary.

How to Complain
99.8 KCFM is part of the Lincs FM Group and operates a complaints procedure which refers all complaints to the Group Director of Programming for investigation and response.
