Now this is a true pub with real character, one of which is on Hull’s Famous Fish Trail. The building actually dates back to 1553 and is home to the Plotting Parlour where it was agreed to refuse Charles 1 entrance to the City. Ye Olde White Harte is slap bang in the centre of the Old Town yet when you walk down the short passage way to gain entry to the pub, you’ll enter their Award Winning Beer Garden which is second to none and you forget the pubs true location. Traditional Home-Made Pub Grub such as Sandwiches to Jumbo Fish & Chips is served in the bar and the restaurant daily from 12pm to 2.30pm currently, but this could well be extended into the evenings also. If you just fancy a drink then this is the pub to sample one the selection of 7 Real Ales including two Guest Ales which are available. As Ye Olde White Harte is allegedly haunted what better place to hold Psychic Nights – which are every Monday and Wednesday and you could say hi to Freda the Resident Skull which if moved from its current position in the pub weird goings on take place. Finally one of the few pubs in the Old Town to also have a Dartboard! This is a pub you really shouldn’t miss and you will always receive a warm & friendly welcome from Mike & Kerrie and the team @ Ye Olde White Harte.
